The 7th Grade STEM in Agriculture class worked through their first Fun Friday by creating their own structures out of available materials. Several wanted to build structures with popsicle sticks but glue was not provided, they got creative and used clay to hold their structures together. #elevate38
FFA members participated in their first FFA event of the year. They attended DuQuoin State Fair's Farmyard Follies where they met other FFA members and participated in different relay races and games. #elevate38
The Intro to Agriculture class has been discussing the history of agriculture. Today they went on a nature walk to find resources that were used to create the first tools! #Elevate38

Second graders are learning about plants. We wanted to find out just how important the sun is to plants. We constructed a maze and cut a hole in the box. We planted seeds and put them in the box on the opposite side from the hole. We will post updates on our plant. #Elevate38
