The Joppa-Maple Grove School District will host its 1st annual Talent Search Event - "Coffee with the Principal" between 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8th. We have several jobs posted for the 2025-26 school year and we can't wait to meet anyone interested in working in the district as a Teacher, Teacher's Aide, Coach or Substitute. We know that talent comes in all shapes and sizes so bring your resume to get a taste of what Joppa-MG has to offer.

Our last Subs for Subs training for the school year will be held in our ROE #21 training center on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 9:00am-1:00pm. The training is open to anyone interested in becoming a Substitute Teacher OR a NEW Short-Term Substitute Teacher. If you know someone with an Associate’s degree or higher, or someone who has completed 60 hours of coursework, please help spread the word. Thank you!
4 FFA members traveled to Dixon Springs today to participate in the horticulture competition. Students had to identify over 20 plants and take a written exam over horticulture.

The second graders are incubating chicken eggs. They take 21 days to hatch. We are down to 10 days. Hopefully, we will have some sweet baby chicks in a little over a week. We will be sure and let you know. #Elevate38
The second graders are watching a couple of caterpillars begin to form their chrysalises. Once they have completed this stage of their life cycle, we will move them to their temporary habitat. Once they emerge from their chrysalises, we will release them to nature. #Elevate38
