Maple Grove's 2023 Science Fair
The 6th grade class made a watershed today.
The baseball game today vs. Century has been rained out.
JHS Educators Rising had the opportunity to visit Touch of Nature in Makanda, IL, today to participate in the SIFTC's Community over Competition event. Students participated in both large and small group activities and enjoyed lunch with several southern IL area high schools.
Maple Grove Family Reading Night
Tuesday, April 25th: 5:00-6:30
Activity #1 : Design your own Book Bag in the hallway in front of the library.
Activity #2: Book Tasting in Mrs. Forys’ Room (Forthman & Peck)
Activity #3 Book Bingo- play Bingo and earn a book in Cafeteria (Starts at 6:00)
Book Fair: in the library-Mrs. Reichert Science Fair: in the gym
Afghan Raffle: front hallway (tickets are $1.00 per ticket or 6/$5.00)
Activities may be done in any order you choose except for Bingo, which starts at 6:00 p.m. Sandwiches, Chips, Drinks and Desserts in the cafeteria (no cost)
The 6th grade class made warm air parcels today.
The 6th grade class enjoyed the Harry Potter Experience at the Carson Center. They also enjoyed lunch at Pizza Inn.

It was my honor to have these two Joppa Jr/Sr High students at the 33rd Annual Student Recognition dinner last night, so if you see Jaylea Anderson or Troy Latham, tell them congratulations.

This afghan will be raffled off during Family Reading Night. Tickets can be purchased for $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. This afghan was made and donated by Beatrice Gordon. If you are interested in purchasing tickets, contact Ms. Owens. Tickets can be purchased that night.
