On Tuesday, Joppa High Schools FFA had a chapter visit with the chapter officers and a state FFA officer. The students worked through leadership actives lead by the chapter and state officers.
The Beta Club will be completing Hoskins BBQ orders this Thursday, November 17th at 5:30pm. This will be for everyone who had preordered and did not receive their meal last week. Be sure to pick-up your Hoskins orders this evening between 5:30 and 7pm! The drive-thru will begin on the gym side of the school. Drive around the back of Joppa High School to the east wing near the old greenhouse, and students will be waiting to bring out your orders. You may also place an order when you arrive, as well. Joppa juniors and seniors were given the opportunity to attend SCC's Career Expo on Thursday. Several students had the opportunity to visit with over 70 vendors to discuss employment. The students also learned more about SCC's programs and SCC's Career Coach.

JHS Senior Beta Club members are selling tickets for a drive-thru fundraiser on Thursday, November 10th, from 5:30-7pm. We will be featuring real hickory smoked pulled pork from Hoskins BBQ in Mayfield, KY. You have two buying options: an $8 plate includes a BBQ sandwich and a serving of loaded potato salad, baked beans, and homemade fried chips; or you may order a sandwich only for $5/ea. Please see any Sr. Beta member to pre-order your meal. You may still purchase on Nov. 10th, but all orders will be a first come, first served basis.
