Maple Grove Jets are playing in the championship game tomorrow evening at MES. We are encouraging everyone to wear red and blue tomorrow to show our support for them. Let's go Jets! Students in 5th-12th grades had presentations on how vaping affects our lungs today. Representatives from SIH came and showed the students the effects using pig lungs. Here are some pictures of the 5th graders participating.

Hello everyone! We have been watching the weather and as of now, the Maple Grove game vs. MES is still scheduled. The prediction is that the earliest the weather would move in would be 7 pm. The game starts at 5 and should be finished before any of the weather starts. Also, please note that we have the potential for strong storms overnight. Please make sure you have your phones charged and the volume on or a weather radio so you can hear if there is a warning and need to take cover. We will be sure to keep everyone updated if anything changes.

Check out this opportunity for any middle or high school student.

Joppa's Sophomores and Freshmen attended SCC's CTE Day on Thursday. They had opportunities to learn more about SCC's programs such as welding, auto mechanics, cosmetology, agriculture, electricity, and much more.

Aiden was recognized as Joppa's DAR recipient on Saturday. Congratulations, Aiden!

Monday was the junior high's first volleyball game. I am excited to watch them grow as a team.
