Ms. Clark and Student Council put on a great dance with the help of Ms. Cohoon, Ms. Schloss, Ms. Jesse, Ms. Morgan, Ms. Wear, Karon Hooks, Sally Lang, and other parents chipping in. I love our community and I was having too much fun to take pictures, but I did grab one.
Special thanks to Ms. Schloss and the cheerleaders for planning such a fun pep rally for JJHS and JHS. It should come as no surprise that our seniors won the Spirit Competition. We really do have the best students! This is Ranger Country! Homecoming 2024 JJHS and JHS pep rally

The second grade class measured 100 feet. We are learning about mammals and discovered that a blue whale can grow to be 100 feet in length. They were shocked to see just how long that really is!
Mason Stewart, a Joppa Alumnus, visited the Consumer Education class to discuss his career as a fireman and the pathway he took to get to his career. Thank you, Mason, for taking time to come back and visit.
It is Joppa Homecoming Week!! Please come out and support our Joppa Rangers.
Next week, an important window of opportunity opens for every school across the state. It’s the opening of our annual Illinois 5Essentials Survey – the tool that provides a voice for all teachers, parents, and fourth- through 12th-grade students to tell administrators what’s working and what needs improvement. This year, the survey is open Jan. 23-March 29.
We will be hosting an evening for all parents to come in to the school to complete the survey. Students and staff will complete the survey at school.
