TRIO visited JHS on Thursday and provided students with the opportunity to play several real-world VR challenges. Each class took turns selecting a career-related task to virtually experience, giving them a glimpse at a potential reality for their futures!

The Joppa-Maple Grove School District will host its 1st annual Talent Search Event - "Coffee with the Principal" between 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8th. We have several jobs posted for the 2025-26 school year and we can't wait to meet anyone interested in working in the district as a Teacher, Teacher's Aide, Coach or Substitute. We know that talent comes in all shapes and sizes so bring your resume to get a taste of what Joppa-MG has to offer.
This Friday, March 28, at 1:00 PM in the cafeteria, we will hold our annual awards ceremony for this nine-week period. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend. The 1st through 3rd grades will go first, followed immediately by the 4th through 6th grades. #elevate38

Our last Subs for Subs training for the school year will be held in our ROE #21 training center on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 9:00am-1:00pm. The training is open to anyone interested in becoming a Substitute Teacher OR a NEW Short-Term Substitute Teacher. If you know someone with an Associate’s degree or higher, or someone who has completed 60 hours of coursework, please help spread the word. Thank you!
4 FFA members traveled to Dixon Springs today to participate in the horticulture competition. Students had to identify over 20 plants and take a written exam over horticulture.
