FORMER STUDENTS - The IACAC Transfer Advisory Committee is seeking applications for five $1,000 scholarships for students transferring from an Illinois community college to an IACAC member 4-year institution as a new student for the Fall 2021 term. The Paducah Propeller Club Scholarship Application has been emailed to the seniors.
Joppa Junior and Senior High School’s first semester ended on December 18. Report cards were sent home on January 8. The students listed on the High Honor Roll achieved a GPA of 4.0 or higher on a weighted scale. Joppa's WYSE team placed first in SCC Regionals. SCC application deadline for scholarships that was originally set at March 1, has been extended to March 15.
Junior High boys basketball game is at 6 pm at Joppa Jr/Sr High School. This game will be recorded and posted after the game. Each player is permitted to have three spectators who must sit together. Concessions will be open.
Shawnee Community College is currently accepting applications for their practical and associate degree nursing programs. Due to inclement weather and testing dates being cancelled, students who are interested should complete the application packet as close to the March 1 deadline as possible and promptly schedule their TEAS exam.
