Homecoming week at Joppa HS
Parents and students:
I hope everyone is doing well. We are in the final 9 weeks of school and we would like all students to finish strong during this different kind of school year. If a student is out and are remoting for the marking period, it is the expectation that they will be in their classes synchronously and will maintain email contact with their teacher for every class that they are in every day. If they are not a remote student full time and are not experiencing any type of symptoms, they should be present daily. Remote options are for students that have opted for this at the beginning of the marking period.
Parents should make contact with the office if:
1). Student has symptoms for COVID 19.
2). Student is waiting for test results.
3). Student is quarantined.
Remote options are not for any other circumstance. If a student is sick, then make contact with the office that they are sick and that will be relayed to the teacher. It is my hope that all students will continue to work diligently toward your academic goals.
