The Maple Grove PTO would like to remind everyone to come out on Friday, October 29, from 5:00 – 7:00, for chili, hot dogs, desserts, and drinks. The cost is 5.00 for adults, and 3.00 for children. The book fair will also be open to purchase books. We will have a couple of small activities set up in the gym for students whose families are staying to watch the movie. Since there is a good chance of rain, we will be showing “Hocus Pocus” in the gym on the big screen. The movie is 1.00 per person. Free popcorn and drinks will be served. There will be blankets laid out on the gym floor to sit on during the movie. Don’t forget, we will be raffling off our baskets after the movie. They are really packed full! Come on out and kick off your Halloween weekend with us.
On November 12 we will have Meet the Teams! The meal starts at 4:30 and announcing the teams will start at 6. We will have raffle baskets and games, so come join us for a night of fun!"
On Friday, October 29, JHS students will participate in an afternoon field day. Students will receive a free soda and bag of popcorn and participate in several fun activities around the school. The criteria for attending the field day are no tardies and no lunch detentions for the rest of the week. If you would like to donate small pumpkins for the pumpkin painting, please contact emay@joppa38.com.
