FFA Week Updates:
Due to all the snow and school cancelations last week, we are moving FFA week to this week! Encourage your students to join in the fun and send them to school in Red, White, and Blue on Monday, February 24!
STRAWBERRIES will be here today!
If you ordered strawberries from an FFA member, you will be able to come pick your order up from the school after 10AM or make arrangements with the member you ordered from to pick up your berries!

Joppa-MG will be out of school on Friday, February 21st.
Although the main roads are getting better, the secondary roads are still causing travel problems so our best bet is to let the weekend melt the snow away as we look ahead to some warm days next week. Thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding as we look forward to getting everyone back in school on Monday.
Joppa-MG will be out of school on Thursday, February 20th. We will continue to monitor low temperatures and road conditions so please check the school website and Facebook page for decisions on Friday. Stay warm and drive safe.
As expected, Joppa-MG will be out of school on Wednesday, February 19th due to the snow storm that moved into our region late this afternoon. Please check back for updates as we make decisions on the remainder of the week. Be safe on the roads.
Senior Night has been Canceled for Basketball and Cheerleaders: February 20, 2025.
Due to the impending snow storm on the way we have cancelled all extracurricular sporting events for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We will make a decision on Friday as soon as we can.
With heavy snow set to begin on Tuesday afternoon, Joppa-MG will dismiss tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. All students will be served lunch prior to dismissal time. Please note that we expect significant snowfall so please check back for updates for the rest of the week.
The senior class enjoyed a Valentine's Day party with their sponsors, Mr. May and Mrs. Dummitt. They wanted to experience one last Valentine's party as a class before graduation in 84 days! #Elevate38
This is a friendly reminder that today's dismissal is at 2:26. President's Day is on Monday, February 17th, so school will not be in session.

Dental Exams- Kindergarten, second grade, sixth grade, and ninth grade all are due May 15, 2025. Kindergarten also had a vision exam due October 15, 2024.
