The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees of the public body and consider the employment of a certified teacher for the 2025-26 school year.

Students had so much fun at Joppa-Maple Grove’s STEAM Camp on the first day! We learned how to make a catapults and rainmakers, and even got some hands-on experience with some of our new machines in the lab! The kids had a blast today and are looking forward to tomorrow! We will show off our projects at 1pm to parents, and you can also get a sneak-peak of our state-of-the-art STEAM lab before the ribbon cutting ceremony later this fall. Joppa is doing great things!

If you registered your child for Pre-k in the spring, please make sure you have all your paperwork submitted by this Friday, August 8th. We have a full class with a waiting list and if we do not have all your documents, your child will not be considered for the program. If your child did not participate in the spring screening, We will contact you about scheduling them for a screening. You can complete registration paperwork at Joppa38.com

Joppa-Maple Grove #38 is excited to announce our 1st annual STEAM Camp available to students entering 1st-5th grades during the 2025-2026 school year!
